New Etsy Favorite - Margo

I always get distracted by other Etsy designers when I should be posting my own pieces. I can't help it! I love to see what other artists are doing. Today, I stumbled upon Raquel Castillo, a jewelry desginer based in Los Angeles. Her designs are absolutely incredible. She uses vintage enamel jewelry to construct beautiful necklaces, earrings and cuffs. They are colorful, bold and so unique. When have you ever seen something so different? I admire her use of color and the way she's not afraid to put several bold pieces all together. This is at the top of my wish list! Visit her Esty shop at www.raquelcastillo.etsy.com.

Caribbean Hoops

I call these "Caribbean Hoops" because the colors remind me of the colors of the ocean in the Bahamas. They are handmade sterling silver hoops featuring quartz and jade faceted teardrops and aqua spears in the center.

Welcome to Faceted Design

Welcome to Faceted Design, a new blog chronicling my jewelry designs as well as other upcoming designers and wonderful new boutiques. These are one of my newest pairs, a sterling silver almond shaped hook with a bright cluster of glass beads and crystal. They look fabulous with an up-do! These are available at Urban Calm Spa in East Village, San Diego.
